As of July 1, 2023, the CALPA board announced its decision to end the joint CALPA/PLA membership program. CALPA has decided to focus membership benefits on those that directly address what is happening in California’s state parks. This new approach builds on the collective knowledge of CALPA members to learn from each other and create solutions. The connection with partners and parks address an unmet need in the state parks system.

Together, we can protect parks for generations to come. Your membership is more than a membership; it is evidence of your organization’s commitment to the broader landscape of protected lands and waters in California.

You exist because you believe in the power of parks – we exist because we believe in the power of park partnerships.
